Ingredients
2tablespoonsbutter
2clovesgarlicminced
1 ⅓cupschicken broth
1cupfrozen peasoptional
2cupsinstant ricelike minute rice
¼cupchopped cilantro
Instructions
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Stir in broth and peas; Stir. Bring to a boil.
Stir in the instant rice and cover.
Remove from the heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
Stir in cilantro and fluff with a fork.
Notes
Water can be used in place of broth but the recipe won't be as flavorful.Add extra vegetables to your liking, cooked bell pepper and onions are great additions.
