Looking for the perfect game day dip? You have to try this super creamy and cheesy Crab Rangoon Dip!
It’s finally time to start thinking about your big game ! If you have been reading here before, you know that I am not the biggest football fan, but I put up with it for my husband and 5-year-old son. I mean the half time show with snacks makes me happy, but the rest of the game, meh.
Every year we always throw little tailgate parties (or homegate parties as we call them). Usually, I make a nice big spread of food, accompanied by all of those super cute football-themed decorations you see in the craft store. This year though, seeing as I am one week out from my due date, I am turning our annual game party into a pot luck!
It’s a win-win for everyone! We get to make one of our absolute favorite dip (Crab Rangoon) to share, plus get to try everyone else’s dishes! I don’t know why I didn’t think of this years ago. I mean, there are a few other things I need to worry about, like getting the house homegate ready (more on that in a minute); but it sure does feel freeing knowing that I don’t have to make and serve everything!
If you have never heard of Crab Rangoon Dip before, let me tell you what you have been missing out on! Crab Rangoon Dip is like eating the fried wonton version you order at the Chinese restaurant, without having to do all the work of making them at home! It’s packed full of all the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and crab you can handle. And, you can either serve it with tortilla chips or Wonton chips. What more could you ask for?! It’s like the perfect creamy and filling dip, game day or not!
If you are thinking about planning your first game day party (or any party in particular), let me give an important tip. The absolute first thing you need to do is make sure you are stocked up on the essentials like Bounty Select-A-Size Super Rolls, Dawn Dishwashing Soap, Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls, and Febreze ONE. The last thing you want is someone smelling your funky trash can or running out of toilet paper (yes, the last one has happened at my party before)!
The good news is while you are swinging into Walmart to grab the Crab Rangoon Dip ingredients, you can also pick up your essentials at a great low price! And, even sweeter, if you buy one game day product from Walmart right now (like the ones mentioned above), you can earn $0.50 back with the Ibotta app! Plan on purchasing more than one item? You can earn an additional $1 ibotta bonus on top of that $0.50 when you do! That will help you stretch your game day party budget!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. To make it super light and fluffy, mix it with an electric mixer on medium speed instead of by hand.
Once cream cheese mixture is fluffy, stir in remaining dip ingredients reserving 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1 tbsp chives for topping.
Spread mixture into baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling. Top with chives and serve with tortilla chips or wonton chips.

Have you ever made this in a crockpot?
I think the Crockpot would work great for this recipe, Sharon!
