Need a quick and kid friendly breakfast that takes literally no time or effort to throw together?  Then you need these Instant Pot Chocolate Banana Bread Quick Oats in your life! These filling quick oats taste just like grandmas banana bread but in breakfast form!

Instant Pot Chocolate Banana Bread Quick Oats

I don’t know about you guys, but my grandmother used to make some of the BEST Banana Bread in the world, I swear!  So, she was inspiration to make these Instant Pot Chocolate Banana Bread Quick Oats.  I took some of her favorite Banana Bread ingredients and added in the chocolate, as my family are bunch of choco-holics.

Now, most mornings, we just have a quick bowl of cold cereal and we are on the go, but there are just some days where I feel like my family needs something that will stick their ribs, that’s where this Instant Pot Chocolate Banana Bread Quick Oats recipe kicks in.  In all reality, it takes just an extra minute or two more than what it takes to get their bowl of cereal and milk, and it tastes SO GOOD! Plus, it’s very filling. If I’m making this on a school morning, I just sneak downstairs right after I wake up, throw everything in the pot, and then get back to my normal morning routine.

I can never find Steel Cut Oats in my pantry, but I find that my family hasn’t complained about me using the Quick Oats to make them a delicious, warm, and very filling breakfast.  As for making this for your family, you can totally modify any of the optional mix-ins to make this your own.  For example, maybe your family doesn’t love walnuts, then just leave them out.  I’ve tried it this way too, and it is still super yummy!
