Instant Pot Supreme Pizza Pasta is perfect for weeknights when you don’t even have time to order pizza! All you have to do is throw everything in the Instant Pot and let it work it’s magic! In 5 minutes of cooking time (about 20 minutes total), you will have a delicious home cooked meal everyone in the house will love! Not to mention it will save you a few bucks too!
My family absolutely loves this pasta and I love the fact that it requires almost no effort on my part. And, little to the knowledge of my family, this meal packs a secret healthy ingredient, mushrooms. Not everyone in my house likes mushrooms, but with this meal, they don’t even know they are in there!
As a mom, I know all too well how hard it is to get a meal on the table that is at least semi healthy, and that everyone will actually eat. That’s why I have taken the Blenditarian pledge. Haven’t heard the term Blenditarian before? It means one who believes that the mighty, meaty mushroom makes meals more delicious, nutritious and sustainable.

Believe it or not, mushrooms are fat-free, cholesterol free, low in calories, and provide important nutrients like vitamin D, B vitamins, antioxidants and potassium! Mushrooms are also low in sodium and rich in umami (the “fifth” taste), which means enhanced flavor without the added salt. I really had no idea mushrooms were so good for you until I did a little reading on the Bleditarian website!

To become a Blenditarian, all you have to do is cut your meat with mushrooms. When cooked properly, mushrooms can easily mimic meat. To get the best blend results, mushrooms should be chopped to match the consistency of the meat they’re paired with (like ground beef or sausage in this case). It’s a super simple way to sneak an easy serving of vegetables into meals your family already enjoy. My family loves my Instant Pot Beef Burrito Bowls and Instant Pot Cheeseburger Helper, both of which are made with meat blended with mushrooms! Little do they know I have been secretly feeding them meals that are actually healthier for them (gasp!).
Another really great thing about being a Blenditarian is it save you MONEY! Blending mushrooms into your meat is a great way to save a buck! It adds volume, generating more servings and stretching recipes into more portions! If you are cooking for a large family, this could be a great way to stretch your meals a little bit further while keeping your grocery budget in check.
Instant Pot Supreme Pizza Pasta is a quick and easy meal that is easily customizable to your family’s likes and dislikes. It also makes a ton so no need to double the recipe. You can even save yourself some prep time buy making the meat ahead of time and freezing. Pizza Pasta packs a healthy serving of veggies, most of which are hidden so well your kids won’t even notice (unless you tell them)! If your crew loves pizza like mine does, you have got to try this Instant Pot Supreme Pizza Pasta! It’s so simple, even your kids can cook it.

This was delicious. I only added half of the olives. I did top it off with hot peppers from my red pepper mill, gave it a nice zing. I had to use spaghetti sauce because I didn’t have pizza sauce. I’ll definitely make this again.
