quick-and-easy-way-to-hack-week-night-dinner

If you are like me and love doing things the easy way, stick around because we are going to hack a week night dinner the easy way!

It kills me to say this, but most of the time I am a really good planner. I always have my days mapped out, my money mapped out, and my meals mapped out, but when you get home from a hard day’s work, the last thing you want to think about is dinner (even if it was already planned). Sometimes I literally just cannot do it. I can’t bring myself to scrape together some sort of meal, let alone dessert.

I am too cheap to order out and would rather starve to death than cook.

Sound like you? So what do we do?

Hack #1

If you are trying to trick your family into thinking that you worked away over a hot stove for hours cooking, America’s Choice® Creations products are going to be your secret weapon. One of my husband’s absolute favorite things to have for dinner is hamburgers. Lucky for me, America’s Choice® Creations makes delicious Black Angus Bacon & Cheddar Burgers that literally take 9 minutes to cook in the oven. Put these together with some lettuce, tomato, and onion to serve up a “homemade” dinner with less than 15 minutes of work.

I have a four-year-old so the options like Bacon Mac n’ Cheese, Black Angus Bacon & Cheddar Burgers, and Triple Pepperoni Pizza really appeal to me. Those are options that I know will go over well around here but, if you are looking for something a little fancier try the Honey Bourbon Salmon. You can even pair that with Crab Cakes for a gourmet style meal that will cost you less than $20!

Hack #2

Looking for extra praise for your hard work in the kitchen? Make a super fancy dessert like this caramel apple cheesecake. I know what you’re thinking. I was just complaining about not wanting to cook and here I am making gorgeous deserts.

Well guess what, the truth is I simply took something that was already great, America’s Choice® Creations Cheesecake, and just added a can of apple pie filling, some granola, and a drizzle of caramel! It takes less than 2 minutes!
