These Instant Pot Baked Beans with Bacon are the easiest and most delicious baked beans you could ever eat! Even sweeter, there is no need to soak beans! By cooking these Baked Beans with Bacon in your Instant Pot, you will end up with a sweet and savory side dish perfect for any barbecue!

Instant Pot Baked Beans with Bacon

Baked beans are a summer BBQ staple! I mean, is it really even a BBQ if you don’t have baked beans?! While you can just simply throw a can of beans in the microwave, cooking them in the Instant Pot is so much tastier and actually a little cheaper per serving!

Ever recipe I make in the Instant Pot impresses me more and more, these baked beans are no different. I mean, they are so simple to put together! All you have to do is basically throw the beans into the pot, drain, cook the bacon, stir, and your done! I really love that you don’t have to spend the night soaking the beans, or cooking them in the oven for hours like you traditionally would.

Instant Pot Baked Beans with Bacon

I honestly never ever really made homemade baked beans before my Instant Pot because it was just a daunting task. Even though I never really found a canned bean I like, I just kind of suffered with whatever. But, these Instant Pot Baked Beans with Bacon have seriously changed my life. Never again will I feed my family the overly sweet and kind of tin tasting baked beans!

Wash beans and remove any small rocks. Place beans and water into Instant Pot and cook on manual high pressure (the pressure cook button for newer models) for 60 minutes. When timer is up, allow for a natural release of pressure. Remove beans and drain, saving ½ cup of the liquid.

Replacing the pot, set to saute. Saute bacon and diced onion. Remove bacon and cut into pieces and set aside.

Replace the ½ liquid and deglaze the pan add the beans back to the pan followed by the remaining ingredients in no particular order.
Place cut up bacon back into pot and stir till combined.

Close lid and set timer for 30 min manual high pressure. When timer is up, allow for a natural release of pressure.
