Ingredients & Variations

Pork – Also known as pork brisket, boneless pork rib tips are smaller and extra tasty due to their cartilage content. Fresh or frozen tips can also be used. Beef bone-in roast ribs can be used, but be sure they are thawed before using

Seasonings – Buy adobo seasoning or make it and have some extra for future chicken, beef, pork, and fish recipes. Or season them lightly with homemade seasoned salt if desired.

Variations – Slather on a rich and robust BBQ sauce or some honey mustard dressing, anything goes! Cook them in chicken or beef broth instead of water for extra savory and flavorful ribs.

New to instant pot… wanted a simple guide… Ashley’ helped me kill it first time out! I’ve never used an instant pot until tonight… 16Jan2022. I didn’t have a trivet… didn’t use one… I do have a process for ribs in the oven in water, et cetera, but that takes hours. I just wanted tips, easy… and this did it!

    Thank you, Ashley!

    1. Hi Cora, we have not tried putting the rib tips in frozen before. I would thaw them fully and then follow the recipe as written, if time allows!

This is my go-to ri s recipe. I’ve made many times and the entire family loves them – even my 2 boys who are very picky about their meat. It is in regular rotation at our house.

Tried this tonight and it was spot on!!! The ribs fell clean off the bone. Once done, I laid them out on a foil lined baking sheet and slathered them up with some bbq sauce and stuck them under a high broiler for about 10 minutes and perfection!!!

      1. Hi Kimberley, we have only tried this recipe as written so I can’t say for sure, let us know if you decide to try it though!
