Ingredients & Variations

Meatballs – Frozen meatballs save time and labor – no need to thaw, just toss them in the pot! Leftover hamburger patties can be cut to fit, and even small pork, chicken, or turkey breakfast sausage patties can be used.

Sauce – Use your favorite jar of marinara or pizza sauce and add extra seasonings like chili powder or Tabasco for a spicy kick!

Rolls – Kings Hawaiian rolls are famous for their slider variations! Sweet, fluffy, and the perfect size, if you can’t find them, use dinner rolls, or even biscuits.

Variations – Top sliders with sliced red onions, French-fried onions, pepperoncini peppers, or sliced dill pickles for added color and crunch!

Tips & Tricks for the Best Sliders

  • To make rolls ahead of time, toast them in a 400˚F oven for 5-7 minutes so they don’t become soggy.
  • Meatballs and sauce can also be heated in a microwave-safe dish if short on time.
  • Keep leftover sliders by wrapping them individually in plastic wrap and storing them in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Enjoy them cold or unwrap them and reheat them in the microwave.
  • Cooled sliders can be frozen by individually wrapping them in plastic wrap and placing them in a zippered bag for up to a month.
