Super Simple 20 MinuteChili

What is better in the winter than a good EASY recipe for chili? As the weather gets colder here in NY chili becomes a weekly meal in my house! It’s really simple to make, so filling, and oh so delicious! The best part about this super simple 20 minute chili is my picky eating toddler even enjoys it!

This chili is so versatile. It can be cooked for 20 mins. or hours depending on your preference and is so easy to customize! You can add/take out what ever your family desires and this chili will still come out awesome and taste like you cooked it all day long!

Easy Chili Recipe

This easy chili recipe is the perfect recipe for those hectic weekday nights.

Equipment

Ingredients  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 15.5 ounces kidney beans 1 can, drained
  • 10.75 ounces condensed tomato soup 1 can
  • 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies 1 can
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions 

  • In a large pot over medium heat, brown ground meat with the minced onion, bell pepper and garlic until meat is browned and onions are tender.
  • Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato soup, water, chili powder, and cumin.
  • Bring pot to a boil. Cover pot, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes.

Notes

Leftover chili will keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, and in the freezer for 4 months.
