Ingredients and Variations
SWEET POTATOES: Choose heavy, blemish-free sweet potatoes. In a pinch for time? Use a bag of frozen sweet potatoes (any shape will do)! Regular potato choices are Yukon Gold or Russets.
SEASONINGS: Instead of a sweeter sweet potato fry, use a zesty taco seasoning mix or a savory Italian seasoning mix, or just a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
DIP: Easiest dip ever! But use what’s on hand like sour cream in place of the yogurt, or maple syrup for the honey. Feel free to experiment!

How to Make Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries
- Prep sweet potatoes as directed in the recipe below.
- Spray them with olive oil spray and cook half of them, stirring halfway through.
- Keep them warm in the oven while the other half is being cooked.
- Toss the cooked sweet potato fries in cinnamon sugar and serve as is or with dipping sauce.

Secrets for Success
- Always preheat the air fryer for this recipe. The initial burst of hot air helps to seal the outside of the sweet potato fries, locking in a tender and fluffy interior while crisping up the outside!
- Be sure to pat them dry so the seasoning can adhere properly.
- For the crunchiest sweet potato fries, avoid overcrowding the air fryer. It’s best to cook them in stages and keep them warm in the oven.
- Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat them in the air fryer as needed before serving.
